Children's Church

Children's Church is available each week after the Children's Sermon in the 11AM Traditional Service

Children’s Church: Ages 3 - Third Grade

Children will stay in the sanctuary and worship with their parents until the Children’s Sermon. After the Children’s Sermon, kids ages 3 - Third Grade are invited to exit with adult leaders who will lead them out through the doors on the pulpit side of the sanctuary.

Children’s Church takes place in the Praise Room in the Children’s Ministry Hallway (3rd and 4th doors on the right). Parents should pick children up in the Praise Room following the service.

What about ages 4th grade and up? Can my middle schooler/high schooler help?

Yes! Kids 4th grade and up may attend Children's Church as helpers. They will need to assist with crafts and be willing to listen and help the leaders when called upon.

However, families are encouraged to worship together whenever possible. Worship Bags are available at the Traditional Service for kids of all ages to pick up in the narthex each week.

Who leads Children's Church?

At least two trained leaders will supervise Children's Church each week. If you are not Safe Sanctuary trained and want to help, please sign up at the button below, and we will contact you to complete the training.

What will kids be doing?

Kids will hear a Bible-centered lesson and do crafts each week. They will also have the option to reflect and respond to the lesson through worship music, journaling, drawing, writing, and prayer.

Is it the same as Sunday School?

Children's Church is different than Sunday School/Sunday FunDay. Kids will not do any of the same activities in Children's Church as they did in Sunday School. The lesson may center on the same Bible verse, but the content will be completely different.
