When is this event happening?

On Saturday, March 22nd our church community will gather together at Wesley Memorial to form groups, pray over our community and then disperse out to each project sight. Please arrive by 8AM. Our plan is to complete most projects around 12 PM. We would love for you to join us for a Saturday of service!

So what is MERGE - Wesley Memorial's Day of Service?

Often, there are times when the local church (Wesley Memorial) and the local community run along a similar path. Both groups hope for a more cohesive community, both have a desire for the needs of everyone to be met, and both the local church and its community long for a day when their community would be considered better than the day before. This brings us an opportune time to make a lasting impact on the surrounding community for years to come. Hence MERGE, bringing the church and the community together for the good of all. This is what the gospel of Jesus calls us to - making it known to those in our community that though we may have differences there is room for everyone in the family of God.

MERGE - Wesley Memorial's Day of Service will provide you the opportunity to partner with some of our deep level partners and make an impact in the neighborhood where you live, work and play! There are many needs in our local community and our local mission partners are already making a difference. Our hope is to come alongside these partners so that they might have an even bigger impact on our community. Not only will you be able to serve others as if you are serving Jesus himself (Matthew 25:34-40), but you will hear about how you can MERGE with these partners and continue to serve outside of this day. So whether you have partnered with us before, connected with these local partners in the past, or are seeking a brand new adventure for you or your group, join us for Wesley Memorial's Day of Service!

Who are we partnering with?

Our list of local partners include: Commander Peace Academy, Fairview Elementary, HorsePower, Macedonia Family Resource Center, Open Door of High Point, and West End Ministries.
