Small Groups at Wesley Memorial Methodist

Small groups were the essence of John Wesley’s Methodist movement, and they remain at the heart of Wesley Memorial’s ongoing fellowship. Want to go deeper in your faith? Looking to truly know people at this church? Small group participation is one of WMMC’s five core values because of the impact it has on individual lives and the vitality it brings to our congregation as a whole. We are a large and growing church. It’s not possible for every member to know everyone else. We strive to bring every member into small group fellowship, developing faith formation through Biblical study and prayer. Through these groups, members can find comfort, accountability, and relationships that endure. You can join a group or gather a few friends and start a group. For more information on small groups at Wesley Memorial, contact communications@wesleymemorial.org.

In addition to ongoing small groups, Wesley Memorial offers seasonal and pop-up studies, such as GriefShare, Single & Parenting, DivorceCare, and Lent studies. Visit wesleymemorial.org/groups for current offerings and sign-ups.

Unity Groups

Wesley Memorial’s Unity Groups are intimate gatherings that provide participants with a place for fellowship, study, and support. The groups were created at various stages in the church’s faith life, both organically and through specific initiatives. Some groups have been meeting for more than 20 years. Some started last year. New Unity Groups are formed from time to time and ideas for new groups are welcomed. Contact afelton@wesleymemorial.org for more information or to express your interest in joining a new group.

Adult Sunday School

Wesley Memorial continues a long tradition of engaging adult Sunday Schools that address a range of biblical topics in a variety of formats. New classes are created from time to time. For more information, contact communications@wesleymemorial.org.

Bible Studies

Wesley Memorial Methodist has a rich history as a place for serious, committed study of God’s word. That tradition continues today. The church is home to a number of regular Bible studies held at various times through the week and of varying length. The listing below is current, and is reflective of the normal Bible Study life of the church.

Additional Study Opportunities

Wesley Memorial also hosts short-term, seasonal, and pop-up studies throughout the year. These include GriefShare, DivorceCare, Single & Parenting, Advent and Lenten Bible studies, and more. These groups offer meaningful connection and spiritual growth for individuals navigating specific life stages or seeking deeper engagement.
